Do I have to have a Common Access Card (CAC) to access Web CCaR?
The Web CCaR configuration documented in the security accreditation requires users to authenticate with the CAC. Web CCaR allows for other authentication methods, but would require an updated security accreditation in order to deviate from CAC authentication.
I receive the following error when accessing Web CCaR: “your browser does not support the applet tag.”
This error indicates that you do not have java installed. Open http://java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp to verify that java is installed properly and work with your local support personnel to correct the issue.
I am encountering problems logging into Web CCaR. What can I do to resolve the problem?
The Web CCaR Login Troubleshooting Guide documents the login process and resolutions to login problems that have been previously reported. If, after reading the guide, you are still unable to login you can contact the Web CCaR helpdesk at 1-877-WEBCCAR.
What are the system requirements to access Web CCaR?
In order to access Web CCaR your system must meet the following requirements:
Common Access Card (CAC) Reader and applicable software
The DoD Root Certificates loaded in your local trust store
An internet browser with the Adobe Flash v10.1 or higher plugin.
